Golf Club Biella
The “Le Betulle” Golf Club was built at the end of the 1950s, designed by the English architect John Morrison. The course which is parkland in design winds through dense forests of centuries-old birch and beech trees, located at an altitude of 590 meters above sea level in a most beautiful setting, at the highest part of the course, hole 16 there is a spectacular panorama.
The course has 18 holes covering 6534 meters, Par 73. It proves challenging for golfers of all abilities. Biella has been awarded one of the best top ten courses in Italy many times and it hosts the European Junior Championship each year, which Rory Mcllroy holds the course record.
The practice facilities include a 13 bay driving range and a large natural grass pitching area, with two putting greens designed to refine any player’s skills. The elegant country style clubhouse with restaurant and adjoining guest rooms was designed by architect Berardi Rossi and offers excellent accommodation for an unforgettable stay, playing golf and relaxing. The restaurant offers a combination of traditional and Mediterranean cuisine and a wonderful wine cellar.
